How Can Companies/Corporations Get Involved?

Companies and corporations can be involved in many ways with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

A corporate partnership is a relationship between Big Brothers Big Sisters and a business that is characterized by mutual cooperation and responsibility, as for the achievement of changing children’s lives through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

A company or corporation can provide employees to serve as volunteer mentors to the children enrolled in Big Brothers Big Sisters or they have the opportunity to provide monetary or in-kind donations to ensure that quality matches continue to be made and the children of Central Minnesota continue to be provided a positive mentor.

For more information on how to be involved as a company or corporation, please contact Executive Director Irv Cross at 320-258-4510 or icross@bbbscentralmn.org.

How Can Individuals Get Involved?

We are eager to get you on your way to becoming a Big. We want to get to know you, and learn about the type of child you would like to be matched with.

Your first step is to complete our application; it’s easy and doesn't take long. You can apply on our website, or we can mail you an application. This helps speed up the next step, which is to meet (interview) in person for about an hour. This meeting will help us to get to know you better and to find a child that matches up with your personality, interests and match preferences.

Please contact Amanda Toppe at 320-258-4538 or atoppe@bbbscentralmn.org  for more information.

Thank you again for your interest. We look forward to meeting with you soon—and creating “Little Moments. Big Magic. HUGE Impact!”
